Happy Fall Y'All

Monthly Missionary Musings OCTOBER

Happy Fall y’all! Fall is my favorite season. I love the colors, the changing leaves, the cooler weather, and the comfy clothing! The consistency of the earth's seasons reflects its Maker and the steadiness of His character. James 1:17-19 tells us that: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” Even though we may each have our favorite season, some of us like the heat, some of us love snow, some of us prefer spring, but each season is a perfect gift from God.

GIVING OPORTUNITIES

Girls United Worldserve Project 2021

NJ Girls United is so excited to announce a partnership with WorldServe's This Girl Project!

Worldserve has long recognized that women and girls are disproportionately affected by water scarcity. When water is present, great things can happen, especially in the area of education for girls. When girls are finally able to attend school, we want to do everything possible to keep them going! A challenge with which many girls struggle is the ability to attend school during their menstrual cycle. Inadequate restroom facilities, a lock of hygiene products, and rampant taboos mean that girls in developing countries miss up to four days of school every month. As absences add up, girls may fall so far behind that they don't return.

Our goal is to raise $3000 for this project.

All funds need to be in by November 8th.

Donations can be given on our website: https://www.girlsunitednj.com

There is a donate button with information.

Also, don’t forget about our 2021 Coins for Kids projects – Compact Family Services for our Home missions and Vanuatu for our oversees project. We have until Dec. 1, 2021 to contribute to these amazing Missions!

God Bless!
