Monthly Missionary Musings JULY

July is an exciting month. School is out vacations, fireworks, and parties. It is also the month that is most often associated with the word freedom in the United States. Often, we take our freedom for granted. So many places around the world are not “free” to worship as they see fit. They do not have the liberties that we have in the USA. While we recognize that our government is not perfect, it is built on the foundation of freedom.

The Message says this in Galatians 5:13 It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows.”

As we enjoy our summertime with family and friends, let us remember to pray for ALL our missionaries who are in places around the world where they are bringing the Word of Jesus to people who are not free to worship uninhibited or do not have access to the many resources that we have here at home.

In Other news – NJ Girls United had our first event last month since the pandemic – Girlz Experience! The Central/South event featured speaker Carolyn Marton, Missionary to Mexico. The Northeast event featured speaker Pastor Cynthia Bee who is the Children’s Pastor at Temple Rock Church. Thank you to everyone who attended these events and to all those who participated in making the magic happen behind the scenes.

God Bless!
