Monthly Missionary Musings SEPTEMBER
September marks beginnings and change. The weather changes, and our students go back to school. A lot of our Girl’s ministry programs start again. We now prepare to get busy again after our summer break.
Your NJ Girls United ministry team has also been busy preparing for the remainder of this year and next year. We are excited about some exciting missions programs coming up.
We will be giving in conjunction with the NJ Youth Department. The Youth Department will be raising money for wells and clean water in Africa and we are joining them with a little sensitive subject. Each year girls miss out on days and days of education because they can not go to school because they have no feminine hygiene products. We have set a goal, here in Girls United, to donate $3000.00 so that missionaries can purchase supplies to give to girls. This way they can attend school and have a better chance at an education. We are excited!! All For Girls Day is back!!
This is a one-day event for our NJ elementary girls to gather, connect, and worship together. The day will include friends, fun, worship, crafts, games, shopping, and the Word. Joining us again this year is Candice Gruber who opens God’s Word in creative and fun ways.
Please register today – this day will be so much fun! We will also be taking an offering for Coins for Kids 😊
